On est en plein été, il fait très chaud: n ayant pas de clim dans la chambre, on laisse les fenêtres ouvertes la nuit. Sauf qu il y a une fête sur une place pas loin ( chaque soir de notre séjour ). Résultat: impossible de dormir avant 2 / 3h du matin vu les gens bourrés qui hurlaient dans la rue devant l hôtel. Ou alors on crevait de chaud en laissant les fenêtres fermés. Et aussi, c était assez bruyant avec le restaurant de l hôtel je trouve.

Excellent German guest house experience with fantastic breakfast included in a quaint, quiet, comfortable space. The area is gorgeous and the lake is only a block away. Very accessible to public transportation, stores, and many fun things to do. The whole experience was perfect and idyllic.

It was all great.

I wasn't aware that the rooms were over a biergarten and restaurant but it did not impact our stay in the least. The breakfast in the morning was typical European (fresh rolls and croissants, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurt and cereals). On the second day the innkeeper kindly came to our room to check on us when she noted that we had not been down yet. Very quiet room, with room darkening shades. A bit of a ways from city center but really close to (free) bus and ferry. Very little English spoken (after all it is Germany) but staff is patient and most accommodating.

The room was 3 flights up (actually my fault for not inquiring) and may be difficult for older travelers. Room initially smelled musty, as if someone smoked in the bathroom, but aired out quickly by opening the windows.

Very clean, very quiet, close to the ferry (5min walk). The terrasse outside is super nice !
