"Dirty and Dated"

Room was dusty, bathroom floor looked dirty. I told woman at front desk who came into the room and saw it, but said the housekeeper had already left. When she didn't offer to do anything, I grabbed a washcloth, dampened it, and said I'd do it myself. Then she said she'd do it. (Missed the nightstand which had a greasy smear on it, and the lamps.) A man who came in said bathroom floor wasn't dirty; it was "paint chips." (It was--painter did lousy job.) Carpeting in halls absolutely filthy throughout. If we hadn't just checked in after many grueling hours driving through challenging weather, we would have left. Oh yeah, staffer left dirty washcloth on bathroom counter. Do not recommend. (Also, avoid DJ's Diner next door. Waited 45 minutes for burger and BLT to go while 4 servers stood around and complained about it being a slow night.)

"These are basics. Management is not doing its job."

Front desk employee at check in was very nice.

1st room had maintenance issues, transferred to a back up room with no linens for sofa bed, sofa bed positioned so that it could not open due to location of other furniture, no staff working the breakfast room and it ran out of hot options and milk for cereal an hour before breakfast was over. Luggage cart had low air in tires and was difficult to push.

It was ok. When I left, I guess the owner was talking bad about me. I have to leave and go let my dog out. Which is none of her business. My attorney, willl be taking care of this situation. I did nothing wrong.
