Redwood Inn

Because of the cool nights in this area the hotel owner doesn’t feel air conditioning is needed; however the loud street noise means you need the air conditioning to allow air into the stuffy room without the ferocious street noise!

Area was shady and noisy as road is right out front. No ac in rooms. Needs update in and out. Bed was small. Will not stay there again. Pics did not do room justice for price especially

The ice maker was out of order. The TV listing of channels was inaccurate. There are no longer DVD players available. On the other hand, lighting was good and the room was comfortable with two chairs and a table. The location is very convenient: close walking distance to restaurants, stores and a cinema. Overall, pleasant and satisfactory.

I enjoyed having four pillows on the bed. Unfortunately the room is dated, and rustic. Some electricity did not work, which made an issue of charging my electronics. There is no air conditioning in the room, as the room faceed full west, it gets quite warm in the evening. I asked and was loaned a oscillating fan to put in the room. There was more than an ordinary amount of people loitering. The management has not fixed their ice machine, and was rationing out ice in small bags.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient. There is a grocery outlet right across the street. Redwood national park headquarter and beach are also within 5 minutes’ walk. We really enjoyed the stay there.

This is only a campground with a few cabins located amidst many car/tent/RV campsites. The ‘patio’ looks directly into at least six close by campsites. Campfire smoke fills the air in the room if the door or windows are opened. Loud conservations outside the cabin prevent any quiet time even at 10 pm.

Was better than expected.

For the traveler, it was perfect. quit, easy affordable. the staff were very helpful. If you looking for a fresh new place. this may not be your 1st choice. but it's all you need . if your a road warrior

The hotelnitself was okay. It definitely doubt have been my first choice, and will stay somewhere else next time. The place was clean, but way over priced for what you get. I didn't appreciate them jacking the prices up for the tournament weekend. They did offer a "breakfast bag", but it was a bottle of water, an apple, and a granola bar. Staff was pleasant and offered some local outing guides.
