The facility is in the heart of the historical district of Palermo. Many sites of Palermo are easily accessible on foot. The apartment was spacious and reasonably comfortable. The facility was reasonably clean. The amenities such as soap and towels were just adequate. The apartment is located in the ZTL so beware if you are driving. The apartment had a lift so that was helpful.

We arrived late and tired and had to follow a series of messages to enter the facility. It was somewhat complicated after a long day of travel. The facility has only one set of keys that are locked together, so electricity, door lock and main entry could only be used in one location at a time. If you are with a larger group that wants to go out separately, it's a nuisance to have to juggle who has the keys and how to get into the apartment. This was annoying - we could not get the washing maching running and leave because the electricity would not be on. There was a funky smell in the apartment that was also annoying. The apartment is owned by a corporation that runs these facilities. The contact was sometimes a day or two late in responding to queries. There is a parking garage in the facility, and though we had requested parking, it is not affiliated with the owners of the apartment, so when we got there, there was no parking and the price magically increased from the quoted 20E per day to 40E per day. We were able to find reasonable parking within a couple of blocks of the apartment, but it made the check-in process more complicated. A digital key to enter would be very helpful.

Great location and comfortable beds. The host was really friendly and allowed us to use the roof top to sunbathe at another property managed by the same company.

The apartment was unclean. There was mould really obvious mould on the bathroom walls and behind an air con unit. Around both showers there was obvious dirt. The showers leaked into the bathroom if the water was pointed at the shower door. Despite a mop being left in the apartment, the floors were unclean which became obvious when walking with no shoes on. There was a damp smell in the apartment.

Location and size of the unit was more than adequate for 4 people. Having two bathrooms and a lift was awesome.

The floor needs fixing (floor boards are swollen and raised from water damage which did pose a trip hazard). Also the shower head didn’t work properly but the owner was very responsive and came and fixed the shower the same day. Beds were very hard and springs were quite uncomfortable.
