The location was amazing. The size of the rooms were spacious, it has a very island feel about it. Local buses are available just outside. Out of the business of Port Vila. Snorkelling right out your front door.

The location is amazing! The staff were incredible! The locals were just beautiful and the local children played with our children on the beach for hours which was their highlight!

On arrival noone warned us the floor was as slippery as glass and 2 of my children slipped over our first night and as I went to help them I slipped over breaking bones in my foot and toe. We had to line the whole lower level with 20 towels so we could walk without slipping. There is no flyscreens on any windows or doors so even with them closed we were inundated with cockroaches every night. Huge roaches crawling on the children at night. In the bedrooms, even in the toilet. Theyre EVERYWHERE and unless you love them, be prepared to have them on you at night! There was a broken washing machine in our room and no access to a dryer which was really tricky with 6 of us, we had clothes hanging everywhere day and night that just weren't drying and went home with bags of wet stinking clothes. No laundromats were operating due to earthquake 8 months ago so it was not nice to have no laundry available. Across the road from our room was a village which was celebrating a wedding (they go for a whole week) so there was loud music and partying until dawn everyday - which wasnt necessarily a bad thing until they started beeping all the car horns and woke all the children up - then they started screaming becasue they had cockroaches on them... the staff are amazing, they tried to help where they could but its not up to them to install flyscreens, fix broken tiles, install non-slip tiles indoors etc vanuatu is an amazing place to holiday and we will be back, we will just not go anywhere near Waves as we're traumatised from the roaches and 4 weeks later im still limping :(. I asked for a partial refund due to the lack of notice about the slippery floors, no laundry facilities available even though it was advertised and a few other things which I know are not worth the money we spend at the accommodation but they said no. A bit rude when I have photographic evidence to support all of the above.

Bedding very comfortable, clean, and well prepared, plenty of towels, security guard ‘Mackoy’ and reception ‘Katya’ were both amazing. Location wonderful and proximity to restaurant at Breakas beach resort terrific.

Toilets didn’t flush well (think they have been modified for ? disabled people which means the horizontal pipe too long to allow for an effective flush ). Parents liked but teenagers disliked no tv in the property.

VILLA 31: The location & out look were great. Far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the main town. Easy to catch a local bus at the door step when needing to travel a little further than the local cafes. The ocean out look is fantastic & the ocean breezes wonderful during the day & a little cool in the evening. Loved the fact there was no TV. Although it would have been good to have had a Bluetooth speaker to be able to listen to music. Bedrooms very open and roomy. Kitchen had a great stove to do own meals & well equipped with saucepans & pans. 2 fridges helpful if the home was at full capacity. Staff helpful leading up to our stay & during

The villa is very tired and not exactly as described in the standard and caliber. A lot of maintenance is required overall but espeically with the plumbing - showers not working properly - some just trickle water, showers drainage back up & take a while to drain & back up - water very slow to get away. Not enough cereal / pasta bowls if the villa is at full capacity (only 3 bowls for a capacity of 8) just to mention a few.

The villas are lovely, the location and view superb. Be aware it can get windy there at times. Villas are solid, clean, spacious and well built. Katia is professional, friendly and very helpful. We found everything to our liking and she made the stay extra special with advice, helpful tips and contact for whatever we needed. Thanks Katia!
