Villa Arion

Nice pool and bubble bath/ jacuzzi area with sea view. Children enjoyed in the pool. Amazing and helpful host Franco. Bus stop close by to the old town. We avoided driving to old town due to challenges with parking. Nice and warm weather.

Steep steps to go up and down from the main road/ parking area. So if you are bringing large and heavy suitcases it might be a bit inconvenient. But its not a problem. Had to write something in this space😊

The villa is beautiful. It was clean upon arrival, and Zora was extremely friendly and welcoming. The pool is a great size for kids and adults to enjoy. The tortoises in the gardens are great fun to watch, alongside the stunning views of the water and boats. The rooms are all a good size, which plenty of cooking facilities, the bbq was excellent. Franco the host is discrete yet available (don't be put of by the description of the owners living above- you wouldn't know anybody was there). Nothing was too much trouble. There is a couple of shops 5/10 mins away, with local bakery and butchers also. There is a restaurant a few minutes away however it was closed when we attempted to visit. The neighbourhood is quiet, and along a bus route with regular buses which was a cheap way to get into Old Town Dubrovnik.

It would have been nice to have fresh bedding offered halfway through our stay, however I am sure if we had of asked this would have been arranged.

We were met at the villa by Franco who showed us around and also drove us to the supermarket to get some essentials in which was great and thoughtful. The villa is perfect for a stay with friends and family quiet /peaceful it has all the facilities you will need , swimming pool which was used day and night .. wood fired bbq . There is a wonderful restaurant just 1 min from the villa , lovely food and greart value. if you hire a boat to go round the islands you can be picked up /dropped off from the jetty at the bootom the garden ( highly recommended)
