The Fullarton Park Hotel

bedroom was cold (due to adverse weather) Could do with a desk and chair in room so can work on laptop, food very good and good portion and pricing.

Excellent sleep, had food in restaurant and would highly recommend. Noise in bar wasn't heard in room.

Staff are friendly try to help has much has they could. The room was average. No hot water, shower water was non existent sink hot water non existent. Room was cold. This was not a 5* hotel, so, was not expecting much, having said that,I expect basic necessities like hot water and heating. Personally, for the reasons mentioned above I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very good and the staff were cordial though i stayed for just a night. Also, it is situated around easy access to shops and bus stops

Good stay. Unfortunately left outside in the rain after we got back from a concert. We were told that a night porter will be on shift and we should knock on the door to be let back in to the hotel. After ringing the doorbell and knocking several times, we ended up being let in by what we assume was a drunk customer on his way out for a cigarette. No night porter in sight. Other than that, it was a great stay. Surprised complimentary breakfast which we weren’t expecting too. Nice room, very clean. Definitely good value for money

Fixtures and fittings need fixing and updating

I liked the fact that the hotel is a bar with rooms upstairs so you do not have to go out to get a drink when weather is bad and I do not like almost that same thing, if you want to get to sleep early it can be complicated. Fortunately they are super strict with the closing time and everyone in the bar is cleared straight so there is not noise at all or remaining people after finishing time.

Stayed overnight to attend a family party in the Function Suite. Checked in at the bar which was very busy and loud. Given key to room which initially appeared clean with tea/coffee, clean towels provided, TV and hairdryer. Room was very cold and on further inspection found an empty bottle of Buckfast behind a curtain. Only one bedside lamp which had a broken shade! On our way to the party asked bar staff for teaspoons for tea tray which were missing and to fix the heating. Given one teaspoon sourced from the kitchen and heating eventually switched after second request. On return from the party heating was off again and the room cold. In the morning we had no hot water from the hand wash basin in the en-suite bathroom. Cobwebs noted in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast basic but adequate comprising of cereal, toast, tea coffee, orange juice served by the same gentleman who had been closing the main door when we arrived back from the party around midnight the previous night. We mentioned the problems re heating and hot water when returning the room key. Staff apologised and said she’d ask the cleaner to check the boiler. No offer of refund mentioned. Staff were polite and friendly but we can’t recommend this establishment. Ok for a stop over but not somewhere we would want to stay again. Needs updating and attention to detail.

Great staff, great room, very clean and unfortunately I lost my wallet but I phoned up and they had found it and managed to get it back, very helpful and will definitely be back, food was delicious too !!
