Hands down best hotel in the area. Emily the manager is exceptional and makes it seamless. When you hit the front desk for anything you might meet Debbie who is phenomenal and try’s her best to accommodate any request. No matter who you may encounter, they make this a home away from home, so if you have transitional needs or a work stay, you can rest assured that here at Carnegie, they understand and invest into your situation, you aren’t just a room number!

I didn’t find anything that I disliked.

The property itself felt more lived in than a place to relax at. There was individuals loitering outside of the establishment. Entering the room, the burners were beyond used, rusted color. There was dirt and rust looking spots on the refrigerator. The drawer had a used napkin, along with other miscellaneous items. Tv stand missing a piece of wood. The bed covers had stains. It was late and I had a conference in the morning. I checked for bed bugs, which was clear and made sure the shower worked. I couldn’t possibly in good faith say I will stay at this property again. I also cannot say that I would recommend it to business associates. Very sad, because the staff was amazing. They were friendly and personable. The kind of customer service you would hope to receive when away from home.

My husband and I who live 4 hours away, made a reservation at this hotel on Apr. 11 for May 3, in preparation for our grandson's graduation from Pitt. We received a call on May 3 at 12:11 PM to let us know that they had given our room away and we no longer had a room, in spite of having a confirmation number and having already paid for this room. They claimed to have notified us of a cancellation, however, neither of us ever received such notice..A LIE!!! The manager was very rude! We had to pull off the highway and scramble for a place to stay. WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH POOR, DISRESPECTFUL TREATMENT IN OUR LIVES!!!! This certainly put a damper on what was to be a joyous occasion. What a nightmare!!!

Location. Cleanliness.

The entire hotel smelled like weed. From the moment we walked into the door then into our room. We opened the windows and lowered the AC so it would continuously run while we were gone, hopefully pushing the smell out but no luck. The smell was so strong. It woke me up multiple times throughout the night. The beds were so uncomfortable as well.

Sheets are terrible and rough. Room was not cleaned properly

The staff was nice

There were too many bugs in the room and elevator we could barely sleep. I got a better breakfast at the local gas station.
