Sehr schöne Lage: direkt am Strand. Wunderschöner Ausblick von der Terrasse. Sehr liebe und freundliche Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind begeistert von der Gastfreundschaft und von der schönen Insel.

Beautiful view over the harbour, rooms very clean and good size for price.

Amazing location .

If peace, tranquility and a stunning setting (just an hour away from Dubrovnik) is what you are looking for then look no further. Guest House Simunovic has the best location on the bay. Its sunny terrace has stunning views of the whole bay and the sleepy little village of Sudurad. You can get into the sea from a quay just below the guesthouse or walk less than 5 mins along a rocky path to the nearest beach. The room was basic but clean with good air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Our room had its own small fridge and cooker and there is also an outdoor kitchen with a full-sized fridge used by other guests. The terrace has 4 tables- two are in full sun most of the day, one is shaded by trees all day. The owners were around and brought us cakes/pancakes every day. We were also offered home cooked meals for 40E a head with wine. We hired bikes and cycled the east ride over to Luka Šipanska, took the ferry to Lopud and walked to the church at the top of the island. You can hire kayaks from the hotel next door. We loved our time here and would not hesitate to recommend it to like minded people.

Sudurad only has 1 very small grocery shop. So if you are planning to self-cater it would be good to bring some food supplies with you. There are a couple of restaurants, one just above the guesthouse but we found these expensive. Sudurad is a stop off for many island tour boats from Dubrovnik. They come for an hour or two then go again. This was never an issue for us. Our only comment on the accommodation would be that a couple of sun parasols to provide some more shade on the terrace would have been nice

Wonderful warm and generous hosts, beautiful location, nice rooms, functional bathrooms, large terrace, sea access, fantastic home cooking, we had a really lovely stay.

It was 99.9% fantastic but a couple of sun parasols on the terrace and a sign on the path and the road with the name of the property on would be helpful.
