Wir haben heißeste Tag erwischt, und unsem Zimmer gabt’s kein Klimaanlage, schade.

sehr ruhiges Zimmer zum Hof hinter dem Haus perfekte Lage nahe am Zentrum, sehr gepflegte Gastlichkeit in einem geschichtsträchtigen Haus mit wohltuenden Charme Frühstück reichhaltig, lässt keine (normalen) Wünsche offen

A gorgeous building in a great location. The breakfast was lovely and the place was spotlessly clean. Lots of history in the building and the great German experience we were looking for. Great shower in the room, great storage space. Comfy mattress.

The room amenities were extremely sparse. No tea or coffee facilities, we had to go to the first floor for this to a separate area and the two times I went the coffee machine was not on - I’ve never had a hotel room with no tea or coffee facilities. The pillows and towels were cheap and thinning. The staff were friendly enough, on the Sunday we arrived back to the hotel and 7 o’clock for a drink and it was completely closed up - bar and restaurant lights out and no staff member anywhere. There is a courtyard to the back of the hotel that a lot of rooms look out onto and it was very overgrown and sad looking, wouldn’t take much to spruce this up and cheer the place up a bit.
