Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Jacksonville – Southpoint

I like the Red roof but we did not stay to this Red roof

The front desk clerk stated that they did not take cash so we did not stay

Location was walking distance to Crackle Barrel restaurant and highway entrance.

It appeared to need a vacuum and sweeping. Should have taken a picture. Refrigerator wasn't working with water on bottom. Had already settled so even though I was offered another room I figured for 1night it was ok. Bath tub had some mold around the edges.

Great location, close to beaches, downtown, restaurants. Good budget-friendly motel for short stays.

Had room on ground floor; do NOT recommend. Window was directly at parking lot level so heard all activity around cars. Also had LOTS of activity in the hallway…heard it all! Hold your breath when leaving your room or using the elevator…instant contact high! 😡Motel is budget-friendly…you get what you pay for. Bathroom had debris on floor and shower. Don’t forget your own toiletries! Small packet of shampoo is all you get! Beds feel like they are the original ones from when the motel opened, feels like sleeping in bars! No outlets by nightstand so phone charging is across your room. Lights are a bit dim in rooms. Stayed one night, will look for other lodging next time.

Our room smelled like dog food. We had to spray it twice.
