Rosewood Little Dix Bay

Words can't describe how beautiful, serene, peaceful and astonishing this hotel and beach was. The rooms were spectacular, along with the service. The view and beach was amazing and secluded. The food was perfect. Sugar mill restaurant was delecious. As well as the buffet breakfast at the pavilion. Cow trail is awesome, if your into hiking. The view was breath taking. I can't say enough about this place. I usually like to travel to different place and not go back soon, but I would definitely go back to this hotel next year! Without hesitation!!!!!

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were comfortable and updated, the beach was beautiful and relaxing, the service was top-notch and the location made it convenient to get to restaurants and sights off of the hotel grounds. It is rare that I write that I would highly recommend a place, but this place was perfect for a relaxing trip.

HAVE STAYED IN VIRGIN GORDA SEVERAL TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE FIRST EXPERIENCE AT LITTLE DIX BAY. BY FAR AND AWAY THIS WAS THE BEST LOCATION, BEST FOOD AND BEST SERVICE. HOPE TO RETURN MANY TIMES IN THE FUTRUE.

We booked a weekend getaway with our 1 1/2 year old daughter from friday to monday. It was perfect, we hopped on Seaborn direct flight from SJU to Virgin Gorda and arrived in 30 min. Hotel provided complementary shuttle to Little Dix Bay. Once we checked in we went to our room in front of the beach. It was pure paradise: no noises, sunny, white sand, cristal clear water, sea turtles, manta rays and confortable beach chairs with shade. The staff was very professional in all aspects. The food was allways good when we went to the restaurant. Loved the look and feel of this very well designed and preserved hotel from the 60's. I will definetly be back soon.

This resort is huge, located 5 minutes from spanish town center and consist of multiple beachside rooms bordering a strip of a private beach/marina. The beach is cristal clear with powder white sand. Most of the beach is for you with free use of non motorized equiptment. You can sit in a lounge chair all day and see maybe 10 other guest, the most. That tranquil. Rooms have tropical decorations, not bad, but a little dated. Restaurant choices limited, The Sugarmill , their best restaurant closed Fri and Sat!! If breakfast not included in your rate, expect around 40.00 pp with tip(18%), because there is not a la carte options exept egg benedictine and a salmon platter. No tv at rooms, no entertIment at night, most daily activities are related to snorkeling and diving, as they take you complementary to any beach/ coral spot in the BVI. Good 6 courts of tennis, mostly empty. Is this is your dream vacation , then this is your place. For the most adventure minded persons I suggest to rent a jeep and explore the island, and taste local and international cousine 5-10 min from the hotel. You can drive to mostof the beaches and explore national parks and historic sites. The service is good but down a notch from other 5 starts resorts. Overall recommended with above reservations.

We stayed at the Rosewood for our honeymoon and could not have been more pleased with the resort and its staff. Our room was an oceanview (#117) that had a gorgeous view of the palms and beach beyond. We were happily surprised by the heart shaped red velvet cake and complimentary bottle of champagne that we received as a welcome present. We loved the excursions to Norman Island and rented a jeep for one of our days there. The beach itself was quiet, with clear deep water and white sand. The staff were incredibly nice, proficient, and chatty. The breakfasts were expensive but huge and delicious. Not kidding, I was teary eyed when we left. Cannot wait to return.

Very expensive restaurant (too expensive for what you get) and the fish was frozen... It's not like I ordered salmon or something not local, but it was still frozen. staff is friendly but a little sleepy (maybe that is the island way, but for the money, I expected just a little more). Beach and bay are excellent -- saw small sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, and barracuda. All harmless -- and really cool. Rooms are a little tired and need refreshing.

We loved our stay and did not want to return back to reality. From the moment we were picked up from the tiny Virgin Gorda airport to the moment we were dropped off, the staff made us feel very special. Our intention was to have a beach vacation and this filled the bill -- we relaxed at the beach and by the pool, we enjoyed the snorkel equipment (complimentary) and other beach activities at our disposal. There was no commercial vibe. The food was great--a little pricey but after we got over the sticker shock, we just sat back and enjoyed. The room was super clean and a small oasis to return to after a full day of sun.

The staff in all areas of service is consistently outstanding at Rosewood LDB. The restaurant venues and menu selections are outstanding, albeit pricey; the ambiance at Sugarmill is exceptional. The spa treatments were divine. I had a facial, scrub and wrap and was extremely pleased with all 3 treatments. The spa facility is luxurious. Our junior suite was clean, spacious; we loved the large, private balcony complete with 2 chaises, table and chairs. Best of all... The outdoor shower! We will return to LDB!
