Exceptionally good stay. Loved the very comfortable room. The day bed in the deluxe room was very comfortable for lounging and talking. The king bed was superbly comfortable. Toilet was very good, everything worked beautifully while the toiletries provided were high quality and very moisturizing. Loved the extensive buffet breakfast - it was the highlight of the stay. The grounds were very well-kept. Appreciated the welcome drinks and snacks at the lounge in the hotel lobby as well as the cold infused water stations throughout the swimming pool grounds for hydrating ourselves. Very thoughtful indeed. The swimming pools were great! My children loved the water slides and the Amazonia water play area very much! Gustoso & Gustoso by the Beach was an excellent Italian restaurant. Lovely pasta and pizza. The mains weren't so outstanding though. Overall an outstanding relaxing stay in cosy, luxurious surroundings. The staff make you feel welcome and special, always greeting us and asking if they could help - loved the no wrong door policy. Highly recommended for a short or long stay. We stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Double Room with King Bed.

Tours were pretty expensive. Booking a 18-seat van costs RM150 per hour with a minimum of 5 hours. I took an 18-seat van from the airport to the hotel for RM180 (9 of us, 3 medium sized luggage) only. Booking the same driver for a durian tour (Teluk Bahang) for the same 5 hours was RM 60 per hour. So do go with the vans at the airport. They're much cheaper and the service excellent. I used a chap named Jefry.

Location wise, it's perfect. The property is clean, well landscaped and comfortable.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Parkroyal Penang Resort! Everything was 100/10. The resort itself is beautiful and has everything you could ask for—the pools, splash pad, gorgeous gardens, private beach, and fantastic restaurants all made our stay so enjoyable. The staff were exceptional—everyone was so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality really made the experience even more special. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay, with a huge variety of delicious options every morning. The location is also perfect, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby, making it easy to explore the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return InshaAllah. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Penang! Thank you team Park Royal and the most helpful kindest sweetest staff 🩷
