Had breakfast in the restaurant 2 mornings and was surprised that couldn’t get a Bloody Mary. The restaurant is open early but they don’t sell alcohol until 11am for some reason.

Great location and a very nice staff. Cute boutique hotel. The room is nice and the bed is comfy. Be prepared to pay $60 per night for valet parking at the hotel...which is steep. The sign outside the hotel notes $50 for parking however they add 20% tax on top of that, which is extreme and likely not passed on to the valet as a tip, so you tip..on top of that too. If you only travel with an overnight bag, it's definitely worth finding another garage/lot in the area, which would save you some money. Lastly, housekeeping was fine, room was clean, however they should leave an extra roll of TP as you are only left with, whatever was already on the roll. If you run out, you are literally SOL. So they need to either provide a fresh roll, or at the least leave an extra roll. Paying 20% taxes on parking, I shouldn't feel like the TP is being rationed out, nor should a guest have to ask for more as I overheard another guest do. Overall, great stay, not a deal breaker. When you know better you do better. I know better about the parking.

Nick took great care of us and coordinated our stay in a very unique room with a balcony and view. You simply can't be the location for exploring Fells Point. The hotel's history is amazing and makes it a must stay for history buffs. There are some basic details that are still being worked through with the recent renovation and some of the older elements like the HVAC controls leave something to be desired, but overall it was a great experience. Bathrooms are small due to the historic nature of the property, but well appointed with great water pressure. Bartender Steve at the tavern in the basement was slow to serve, but kind and clearly has worked at the establishment for quite some time. There was a mistake with not receiving my food and beverage credit towards my bar tab, but I'm hoping to have that adjusted when I follow up with management. We will return.

Front desk was super nice and the beds are the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept in a very long time!!

Neighborhood

This property is ideally located in Fells Point. We pulled up to valet and were immediately assisted by Antonio. He got our many bags out and brought everything to our room extremely quickly. We worked with Krystal several times as she gave us directions, updated our reservation for late check-out and found restaurant menus for our convenience. We met other employees and all were gracious and welcoming.
