"Very good and quiet hotel"

I stayed here for a few days in July with the kids and was very happy with the hotel. It was very well-located (2 blocks from the beach), great garden, super breakfast and had a free parkingservice.

The amenities are well worth the fee. Loved the wine in the afternoons and cookies in the evening. Transportation to and from the downtown area was perfect since the are many hills in the area. The champagne breakfast was excellent - only suggestion would be to have protein available as stand alone item. If you want bacon or sausage it’s only available in the form of a breakfast burrito or omelette.

AMAZING HOTEL and stayed here for my wedding weekend! Everyone needs to either stay or visit La Playa Hotel while they're in Carmel. So pretty, quaint, artistic, and moving how the place has been decorated with a gorgeous view of the ocean, upscale bar and fireplace lounge area. The rooms were so clean, an ode to the classy past of Carmel, with modern aesthetics at the same time, making the perfect blend. Plus the breakfast is a must try. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending others.

"A restorative and relaxing stay in this heavenly place."

This is a haven, a wonderful retreat away from the centre of Carmel (but easy to walk and runs a shuttle if needed) and close to the beautiful beach. It offers wonderful rooms with everything you need and more -- wine tasting in the afternoon (free!), cookies baked daily, a delicious breakfast bar with an incredible array of healthy offerings and stunning views/gardens. Very friendly and polite staff.

It was all perfect!
