We stayed with you on Thursday, 3/12-3/13 of 2026 ~ My husband & I were making an ľunplanned trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota for our Uncle's Living Memorial. This was our 1st time ever coming to DesMonise! Finding this unique hotel was a fun stopover as we were driving from OK! The lady who checked us in was Very Kind & went above & beyond with her charming hospitality ~ we checked in approx. 9 -10 pm (maybe this can help you figure out her name!) A "Good Morning" hospitality bar set-up in the lobby consisting of simple coffee, juice, & pastries would add a special touch! You could have a few high top tables for people to stand around & visit ~ or, maybe have samples from your restaurants that could entice some to "come on in" for more! This could generate that hustle & bustle atmosphere of the 1920's & 30's! The secret doors & hallway to the Speakeasy was perfect!! This was our 2nd Speakeasy to explore! We loved it! Our server was funny & engaging and the bartender was spot-on with mixing our drinks ~ an Amaretto sour & one of your coctails called, Sazerac ~ I think that's the name! Then, there was Tom! My husband met him in the Lobby while retrieving a cart. He arrived at our room at just the time f my husband had requested! He was a huge help loading the cart, took it to our car, and loaded it all ~ so, when we came down - our car was loaded, warmed up, & ready for us to be on our way to MN! Tom was very polite and respectful as well as a gentleman, by opening my door!! Thank you for a positive stay that was important considering where we were going on why!! Thank You ~ Thank You!!!
