"Bon emplacement, mais on doit faire ma vaisselle, même si on a payé la chambre !"

7.0

"Beautiful but load during the day"

7.0

The location was fantastic We love what you are doing with the accommodation. Keeping the history of the property alive, whilst giving it a new story; just some prior warning of the noisy challenges that come with this would have helped!

Issue with not being notified of the construction works, which for our room also meant no natural light as this has been boarded off on the small balcony area. We did raise concern with the young lady on reception, however she could not offer a solution, due to the manager/owner) not being on site) Whilst we would expect some level of noise transfer in a traditional building, unfortunately the amount of noise that travelled from upstairs (footsteps, moving furniture) did interrupt our sleep . Whilst I appreciate that this is somewhat down to each individual guest on the upper floor being mindful, I do think that some greater prior knowledge of sound transfer due to the age and nature of the building would help guests make an educated decision on if the 8 ravati is the right fit for them. Whilst the self cook breakfast set up is a lovely idea, again the noise of this does transfer, with the sound of the cutlery drawer, coffee machine and guests talking transferring into the ground floor rooms from 7am - very early for a holiday start, particularly after a tiring day exploring all that Chiang Mai has to offer! We did have one rather major issue; a member of staff (we think as she was dealing with cables in your courtyard) recommended a laundry for us to use, but unfortunately multiple items of clothing have come back damaged / stained.
