Very clean, spacious room, nice bed and bedding

The A/C was not under my control. I was too hot when I got there and it didn’t turn on for quite a while, and then it was freezing at night and I slept with my jacket and pants on. I also couldn’t quite figure out the tv, but that’s probably just me :)

They have given me a room that smelled and when I asked them about it they told me they would go check and put a berry order freshener in the vent. When I got back the berry smell now masked the smell and it smelled like cough syrup. I told the lady downstairs and she said not more rooms available. I thought damn all this money I paid for this room and it stinks. Well I went to bar to have a drink and lady I spoke with earlier comes up to me and says Ma'am I found a room for you. I will be right up with the new key and help you move. To me she was my hero that day!! and the next room was perfect!! Thank you to her that my stay was amazing!!!

We had an extremely disappointing stay at Hyatt Place Sacramento / Rancho Cordova, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon arrival, the condition of the room was already concerning. The sofa bed was visibly dirty, with strange white crystal-like residue on the sheets. One of the pillows had gum stuck to it, and there was no blanket provided. This alone showed a complete lack of basic housekeeping standards. The bathroom was even worse. The floor was covered in black hair, and the toilet was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. It was unacceptable. We reported these issues to staff in the morning and politely requested cleaning. After being out the entire day, we returned around 10 PM expecting the situation to be resolved. Nothing had been done. The room was in the exact same condition - no cleaning, no fresh linens, no towels, trash was not taken out and no attempt to correct anything. To make matters worse, the AC unit was making constant noise throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Breakfast was equally disappointing, with coffee that was simply undrinkable. At checkout, there was no staff at the front desk for nearly 10 minutes. We also contacted Hyatt customer service, and no one followed up. For the price we paid, this level of cleanliness, service, and overall neglect is completely unacceptable. This property reflects poorly on the Hyatt brand. We will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Came for a quick business meeting and appreciated the great service, large rooms, and nice breakfast. Highly recommend.
