Hotel Lichtenstern

Highly recommended hotel. Brightly designed. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious, and it is obvious that they tried to think of small details so that the place provides an excellent experience. Great shower. The bed is comfortable and pleasant. The balcony is spacious and with a breathtaking view. The breakfast is varied and very tasty. The staff are pleasant and extremely helpful. For example, my wife is a vegetarian, and for dinner, the kitchen and the waitress simply went out of their way to adapt a dish to her taste. Value above and beyond. It's a shame we had to continue the trip. Otherwise, we would have been happy to stay longer. Much longer.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Bergblick. Die Qualität des Menüs war gut, das Frühstück außergewöhnlich. Der Service könnte nicht besser sein, vielen Dank dafür! Der einzige Minuspunkt: beim Betreten des Erhohlungsbereichs sieht man sofort die Duschen. Sofern man also nicht in Badekleidung duscht, kann man sofort von anderen gesehen werden. Das ist mit Hinblick auf anwesende Kinder nicht gut gelöst. Dasselbe gilt für die Sauna, die nicht vom restlichen Bereich abgetrennt ist.

Stunning location with views that are magical, we were in room 27 and sat on the balcony for many hours mesmerised. Would love to come back, have reserved 2 rooms for New Years Eve + a few days and really hope to make it back

There is nothing to dislike, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable about the area and history, kind and generous. Having to pay for all this is always a pain in the arse but then exchanging cash to stay here will never be a problem whilst ever we have the cash to do so

Food and room

Views at lunch and from the room. ...but this was my specific case, I am sure others enjoyed better landscapes....

Location is amazing. Totally accessible to Bolzano and surrounding towns without a car. Would go back again and this time stay longer in order to take advantage of all this location has to offer. Amazing breakfast!

The location is wonderful. You feel immersed in the mountains.

Enjoyed the property for the quick I night stay. Quiet and peaceful. Great views. Loved the dinner as breakfast service.

Lovely hotel, convenient location even for travelers without a car, great breakfasts (croissants are in a league of it own).

Awesome stay, comfy room all wooden-made, fantastic view, great breakfast and really friendly owners/staff. One night we got some mulled wine and homemade biscuits to celebrate the Immacculate Conception. that was a fantastic extra treat.

Everything was good about this hotel .. the friendly hosts.. the delicious food .. wonderful hotel staff and above all great location with superb transport system using the ritten card (ask for it at the hotel) we visited in December and it snowed and everything was a winter wonderland! we also had a unique experience where the owner together with his staff lit up a bonfire and distributed delicious homemade biscuits and mulled wine all for free!
