A tad spendy

What a beautiful location! The property straddles the Deschutes River and is just awesome! The staff was also great, especially at the Currents cafe next door.

Great hotel by the river. We upgraded to have a room facing the river. Highly recommend the extra $60. Very friendly staff. Spacious room, nice gym, outdoor pool. Guest laundry room & restaurant and bar by the river are very nice features ! There are also rooms with patio and fire pits . Short drive to restaurants and downtown .

Very helpful reception staff, beautiful location, good restaurant with lovely outdoor seating.

A missing bath towel was only brought at 11am after being requested at 8 am, Coffee maker not functioning, neither did replacement one, fly screen sitting uninstalled on balcony, door handle on bathroom door loose. Reception employees very helpful and friendly, but there seems to be a disconnect between them and housekeeping/maintenance. ADA rooms very far from restaurant. Restaurant can only be reached on foot via a sloping path and footbridge or by driving out onto the road (difficult for those who are mobility challenged).

The location was perfect for our needs and very cozy and family friendly!

For the mediocre experience, the Riverhouse Lodge expects a lot in return. The rooms were nice, but not excellent. The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. The wi-fi was slow. There was no free breakfast. They charge a $10 parking fee (this is not downtown Portland). If you have a good reason to visit, I am sure it is worth it (premium room, events, etc.). I was just in town on business and will not be returning. There are nicer hotels with more benefits for less money.
