Baymont by Wyndham Indianapolis Northwest

This hotel has gone down hill in the past year or so. Same ownership but not the same quality. A cockroach came running out from under the fridge upon arrival, and inside the fridge was quite dirty. The bathtub wasn't cleaned thoroughly and two of the pillows on the bed were worn out. I think there was something wrong with the thermostat because I couldn't get comfortable. When I called the hotel the next day (after checkout) to tell management about these issues, no one answered the phone.

Great property, clean and spacious.

Its an older property and can definitely use an update. The room was a nice size and for the most part appeared clean. There was dirt and stains on the walls, hard water deposits on the shower head, which made hard for water to come out, and dirt swept up into the corners of the room. The cleaning lady was nice and came and removed the debris in the corners. The other items mentioned will require extensive cleaning and upgrading.

It was an okay stay. I was sort of disappointed in my room because from the reviews I had a bit higher expectations but unfortunately it didn’t surpass. I liked the spaciousness of the room for the price I paid that was a steal! but the room just was not as clean as I’d hoped it to be. Some of my sheets were dirty as if they weren’t changed. My room in particular 112 had some sort of what it seemed to be water damage on the ceiling in the kitchen area where the roof was peeling in and some bit of black mold. I’m sure they would’ve nicely accommodated me to a new room but I’d only noticed these things later that night in my stay (am hours) and didn’t feel like dealing with any hassle of room switching since I was only going to be there for 2days but just something to keep in mind otherwise I loved the hot strong shower. Beds were comfy to me as well just dirty sheets..

All the available rooms had wet carpet as they were shampooed that morning. So we were told that they could not move us to a room with dry room. After sleeping in the room and smelling carpet cleaning fumes all night I decided to speak to the manager in the morning. He did refund the cost of the room but put the blame on us telling us “well you could have left after you checked in”. Not customer friendly at all!

Disappointed in Baymont as we usually stay in their hotels. The staff was ok, but the room was not properly cleaned, and the repairs were not finished. Not sure who they have for maintenance, but whomever it is they are terrible.

The ceiling in the shower looked like it was about to come down at any minute. Room was clean, but there was mildew noted. Some features were very old and outdated. People were banging on door across the hall at 3 a.m. and yelling.

Clean and comfortable.

Too many “issues” which shouldn’t have existed? Poor water pressure for shower and bathroom sink - mostly due to energy saving devices that sucked. Also, outlets on remote timers which were very bothersome. Breakfast not as expected for the room rates, I.e. eggs floating in water, juices not recognized or labeled. That being said, our rooms were clean, service was better than average, and it’s a nice, casual place to stay.

I understand trying to make rooms smell nice, but my room had such an overpowering air freshener scent that I developed a horrible sinus headache.
