Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk by IHG

Wanted a balcony to sit out in the evening. I got a little stand up space. Didn't know I should've reserved a "patio". The large king suite was great, but the bathroom was not a good design. No toilet paper holder! Door didn't open all the way.

Had an excellent stay enjoyed everything. hotel itself was amazing and I would probably go back if in the area. The room was just like I booked the location was fantastic and the staff was pleasant.

The restaurant in the hotel was a little over priced with not so great food. Breakfast came out cold and drinks were not that great and very weak. Paid for the room and the deposit and 7days later still waiting for my deposit back.

From the main entrance the hotel and the surroundings are not very attractive. The lobby is uncharming with a design mess, but when you go to the backside there is a very nice view of the riwerwalk. Here you find a small pool too. The staff is not very serviceminded. Promised to call me when the room was ready, but did not hear anything. Got a suite with a very good view. The room was spacious and modern and clean. There is a 10-15 minutes walk to the restaurant area at the riwerwalk. Breakfast is fair but again the staff was not at all accommodating. The self parking in front of the hotel is working well.

Don’t go to this hotel. Staff are rude to military families and they do not accommodate diamond members. On our last stay they offered breakfast vouchers and a month later would not give us any. Spoke with manager whom was not accommodating and didn’t care if they lost our business over breakfast vouchers. Stay somewhere else.
