Urban Rest Lanbruk

Went for the Aust Open Tennis and so paid a premium but we enjoyed being able to walk home after the night games when the trams/taxis were packed with people. Great shower with good pressure! Nice decor and near some great cafes. Easy to jump on a tram straight into the CBD.

Turned up and they had split my King Bed into two singles. I said I didn't request that as I was alone. No big deal but then wanted to charge me $20 (that is the charge for splitting the beds) and the receptionist seemed unsure if she could remove that charge. In the end, after appearing a bit lost, she asked someone else and she was able to remove the charge and fixed up the bed for me herself. No harm done but it was a bit strange that she wasn't empowered to just fix up their mistake smoothly without me having to say that I wasn't keen on paying the charge and could they put the bed back for me. I'm not one to complain but definitely a missed opportunity to impress. There was a bit of road noise outside my 2nd level room. My dad said his room was quieter, as it faced away from the street, but had zero outlook and felt a bit dark and depressing. It was fine as we were not in the room much. The towels were small and thin, feeling a bit cheap at this price point, but you can help yourself to as many as you like, which is nice.

Location to Aus Open was great

Fab location to CBD and MCG for cricket. Friendly desk staff. Great amenities. Perfect for our group of 10. Close to supermarket for supplies during Christmas period

Sadly many businesses were closed during Xmas / new year period. No complaints about apartments.

L’emplacement à Richmond avec le tram juste en bas, le logement spacieux très bien équipé. A une trentaine de minutes du CBD à pieds.
