Friendly staff, running water, electrical outlets work

There's no wifi and no English speaking staff as they claim. Mold or mildew on the walls and on the bed and pillows; the bedding appears as if it was borrowed from a tenement with cigarette holes/burns. Room door wasn't secure: there were screws that were semi screwed in, and it wouldn't take much for someone to finish unscrewing them and unlock the door from the outside. The AC unit and the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. There was an infestation of flying insects. Bathroom: The toilet seat was broken, the tank cover was nonexistent, there was no toilet paper, and the shower head was non functioning. The bathroom wreaked of urine and the hand soap was practically useless because it was so watered down. TV does not work. Why so many budget accommodations believe it's ok to list substandard properties with numerous violations simply because they aren't 4 and 5 star accomodations is beyond me!
