Vacation House Cavtat

Super nette Vermieterin, sehr sauber und perfekte Lage - besser geht nicht. Das Haus war perfekt vorbreitet und wir wurden freundlichst empfangen. Auch bei Fragen zwischendurch gab es schnell und freundlichste antworten. Auch der Check-out war komplett unkompliziert. Kinderfreundlich, ruhige Lage und dennoch voll im Zentrum einer wirklich schönen Altstadt. Gute Lokale gibt es viele, aber aufpassen mit der Winterruhezeit (die meisten machen von 1.11. bis 1.4. Winterpause)

Koselig feriehus med perfekt beliggenhet. Rolig sted å være, rett i gamlebyen som gjør oppholdet ekstra spennende. Lett tilgang til ulike strander. Kort avstand til Dubrovnik.

Anita was very communicative and friendly. The location is very convenient and you can walk easily into the town and the other way to the harbour. There is a lovely little restaurant next to the steps there. It’s quiet and i enjoyed the small courtyard, pretty and a nice place to relax.

Lots of the comments mention the parking and distance to walk to it from the car. That is true but it’s in a historic centre where cars are not allowed so book it knowing that or don’t book it - we didn’t mind it at all and the walk along a lovely quiet promenade is lovely. Lots of comments mention the steps to get back to it, book it knowing that but if you have no mobility issues we found it absolutely fine and enjoyed it. The parking ticket is a bit of a faff but it means Anita has paid for the parking so worth the little effort. Yes it has some limitations because of the location but they are part of choosing to be in a historic core.

We spent 4 wonderful nights staying at the Vacation House in gorgeous Cavtat.  The house is just as described online.  It has great accommodation space - a good sized living room/kitchen downstairs and a large bedroom & bathroom upstairs. Outside there is roomy patio which gives both sun and shade during most of the day. The house is well equipped with everything you should need. There are plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower, toiletries and lots of towels. The bed is large and very comfortable.  Everywhere in the house was spotlessly clean. The accommodation's owner, Anita, was easy to contact and very responsive to any questions that we had.  The house is well located, close to all the restaurants & bars on Cavtat's wonderful seafront where you can sit, to eat or drink, looking out upon the magnificent bay, with its marvellous array of boats of all sizes.  Places to swim are plentiful and all within easy reach. There are some really nice swimming spots a short walk along the very pretty coastal path that takes you around the small peninsula on which Cavtat is located. There are a number of places along the pathway where you can hire sun-beds for the day and you will also find a few small bars there. In terms of transportation, there is a taxi-boat available to take you into Dubrovnik from the seafront. The bus station, with it's direct (50-minute) bus service to Dubrovnik, is less than a 10-minute walk away. And, if you arrive in Dubrovnik by ferry, the same bus (No. 10) will take you from the ferry port to Cavtat. The taxi ride to/from the airport is under 15 minutes and Anita will book it for you.  We would strongly recommend booking Anita's house.

Asunto on viihtyisä ja siisti, sekä lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rannasta ja keskustasta. Kenttäkuljetukset järjestyivät hienosti emännän kautta. Ihana yllätys oli paikalla oleva kissa.

Anita’s property had everything we needed! It was fully equipped, close to the beach and the town center.
