The Lemon Tree in Franschhoek

Love that we could do our washing. Security is excellent. We had DSTV.

Living room couch not so comfortable. Maybe replacement is needed.

Spacious apartment that is very clean and well maintained. It was between 37-41 Degrees in Franschhoek so AC in all the rooms was much appreciated Its a well stocked place so we managed to prepare Christmas lunch at home and stay in doors on account of the heat wave. Bathrooms are also nice and spacious.

The host Robert was quite grumpy which became unpleasant. When we were checking in he advised that he did not want to collect keys on Christmas Day so it was a good thing that we were checking out on the 26th. Then he told me check out was at 10am and when I said it said between 10-10:30am on the site he became frustrated. On the day of our check out he knocked at 9:30am and it felt like we were being kicked out which unfortunately spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay.

Well located, 5 minutes walk to village center, luxurious accommodations, easy in & out. Good quality finishing.
