Inn on Water Street

Excellent spot to enjoy the river and the restaurants and shops along the street.

we enjoyed our stay very much. loved the balcony view. the bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. would have liked a coffee maker in the room

They have tried to update the style of the rooms to make it desirable for the viewer which was minimal & nice, however they list Free breakfast which was a lie! Its not only no breakfast, but its not even continental breakfast!! What they had is packaged donut, yogurt and packaged plane mini bagels with no cream cheese? Their multi coffee machine maker was broken =( and no tea either. We paid $276, which is high! However, we did enjoy it being in heart of downtown Marine city and walking distance from our favorite Restaurant Marine City Fish Company, plus part of the hotel window was facing St. Clair River. Do your math before you book. Bottom line.

Really nice property, newly built, desk service is very friendly, everything is within walking distance. Local shops, bars, bakery, ice cream, restaurants, small beach area. Coffee, danish/muffins available for breakfast. Would come back again, thank you!

Doors were locked when got there. Check in was 3pm I was 39 minutes early and you can’t get in any earlier. Restaurant is closed and should of updated that on website. Room was very clean except for ironing board drawer was broken and just left torn apart, Breakfast included is a bakery item in a wrapper, so if u stay don’t expect much. Spending 230.00 for a one night stay is too high for this place unfortunately.

Great place to stay downtown. Balcony room was perfect with a great view. Staff was very nice. Grab and go breakfast was perfect. Chandelier needs a cleaning more often. Multiple cob webs on the light. I would definitely stay again.

I liked the new digital entry system for the room and hotel. The manager, Renee, was very friendly and helpful. The ocation is good.

Everything was great.. just disappointed the restaurant is closed. Would have been nice to known that before booking
