Inn on Water Street

Very cute hotel and they opened up an area so my family could hang out. They had darts, benga, corn Hole. We enjoyed it. Only negative was you could hear everything in the other rooms. We left out fan on and it blocked it out.

Very clean and cozy, relaxing solo getaway but would be great for couples as well.

So put off/offended by overall experience, will never stay here again! A friend and I went for girl's getaway. 1st thing we noticed upon check-in was unprofessional appearance of man at front desk. He was wearing lounge pants, slipper shoes, NO mask. Went to our room to find garbage on the floor (wrapper, piece of lettuce) from God knows how long ago, and TV wasn't properly connected, which we had to call front desk attendant up to fix. Hotel website's description of the room did indicate rooms include 2 robes and pair of wine glasses/wine opener. Our room had wine glasses/opener, but we noticed that we were not provided with robes. I figured that either a) they forgot to put robes in our room or b) they're not doing that right now due to covid (just like website also indicates complimentary continental breakfast included in stay but they're not really doing that right now because of covid, all they had were prepackaged muffins, hard boiled eggs, and yogurts - half of which were expired by the way). Either way, we didn't care that we had no robes because we had no reason/desire to use them so naturally we didn't say anything. When we checked out there was no one at desk so we left our key and I called hotel to let them know we checked out. Fast forward, I check my credit card to see I was charged $170 the day after our stay. When I called I was told it was for 2 missing robes! The fact that I wasn't contacted prior to discuss it and my card was just charged, horrible service!

The rooms were tastefully decorated and the space was useful. It had an awesome cubby area behind the bedroom area and a huge bathroom equipped with amazing robes. More importantly the beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had during travel. I highly recommend The Inn and will be back there again soon!

Enjoyed the stay, the room was great, the view was great, as was the staff.

Very friendly and informed staff, great view of freighters on the St Clair river. Only disappointment was restaurant was closed due to covid 19. Highly recommend.

The property was well-maintained, staff was welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond. Would certainly recommend and look forward to returning!

Location was great. Very clean. Charming. Unique.

The cleanest, most tastefully designed rooms and bar/kitchen that I have seen, maybe ever! Great location, too, in the very quaint and clean little town of Marine City, Michigan north of Detroit. There are multiple sweet little parks on the very blue St. Clair River. We loved watching the freighters cruise down the river, silently and all lit up! We will go back and enjoy some of the wonderful dining places there. Loved it.
