Hotel Georg

Great hotel for a short stay ……. Much better than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend for a few days. Hotel room was comfortable, had a small conservatory and had an excellent shower. The area around the hotel is quiet, but has a good train connection to Dortmund.

Das Hotel ist einzigartig. Mein Zimmer hatter keine Exken. Alles war - ich vermute vom Inhaber - selbst verputzt und gestrichen. Alles Ecken mühevoll abgerundet und auf dem Fußboden und in der Dusche Mosaik. Keine der großen Hotelketten, dafür aber individuell und total in Ordnung. Für Individualisten :-). Kleine Balkone und Sitzecken fast überall sind auch genial. Ich fand es sehr schön und cool.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Lage ist aber mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat renovierungsbedarf! Ansonsten für einen kurzen Aufenthalt hat das Hotel seinen Zweck erfüllt

This hotel is great value for money and whilst certainly not 5 star, it’s more than adequate for our needs. Single room is big enough and bed comfortable enough (another pillow would be nice). The shower is in a wet room and is fantastic. Takes 11 minutes on the train into Dortmund HBF, with trains running a 30 minute schedule. Not a lot in Witten Annen-Nord, but found a local bar near the station to watch a couple of football games.

Der Check-In war unkompliziert, aber auch etwas ungewöhnlich, da die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist. Man wurde aber telefonisch gut geleitet. Was wir bemängeln müssen, dass keine hoteleigene Parkplätze gibt und vor dem Hotel leider nur paar Stunden geparkt werden dürfen, allerdings gibt es in der Nebenstraße die Möglichkeit dazu einen Parkplatz zu finden. Das Hotel selbst ist schlicht und wurde versucht modern einzurichten, aber zum Übernachten reicht das vollkommen aus. Lobenswert war, dass man Getränkeautomaten, Kaffeeautomat,..... hatte und es eine kleine Küche gab, wo man hätte sein Essen zubereiten können.
