Antica casa Scardone

We stopped there (in Piedimonte) in order to make a climb the Monte Cairo easy. For this reason the location was perfect (Terelle could be more perfect, but it was unavailable). The place is very clean and quiet. On the net it is described as "pizzeria", but this is history. The owner - Anna - is a very nice lady, trying to be helpful, but she does not know a word in English (while we could only say Buona Sera). Breakfasts were very small, but better than anywhere else: at least there was bread available, a bit of Parma ham, there were bananas and oranges and apples, but no salad.

The communication with the personel was very poor.

Great place to stay, very comfy. Bed’s are hard but in a Nice way. They make you sleep like a baby. Hosts are Nice and sociable, they do all to give you a pleasant stay. We arrived very late, kitchen was already closed but they still offered us to Made us a dinner. Rooms are very big and have everything you need and even more. It is not noisy, it is in a very quiet place. Perfect if you want to be in between Rome and Napoli.

It is hard to get there without car.

Es wurde sich viel Mühe gegeben um einen guten Comfort zu schaffen. Es ist alles da was man braucht, Klima, kleiner Kühlschrank, gutes Wlan, Balkon, Bad mit Dusche. Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Leider sprechen die Gastgeber kein Englisch, es wurde sich mit Apps geholfen zum übersetzen. Parken ist möglich. Auf Wunsch, wird Abends dort gekocht für die Gäste - mit Aufpreis. Die Autobahn ist ca. 10km entfernt, ein Einkaufszentrum ist in der Nähe wo man alles bekommt was man braucht. Rom, Napoli sind ca. 1,5 Stunden mit dem Auto entferbt. Gute Strände sind innerhalb von 45 Minuten mit dem Auto weg.
