Noa Boutique Hotel

Comfortable with great view. You feel like can touch the ocean from your room. Watching the tide come and out was very relaxing. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with access to a number of nice restaurants and stores. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful views. From check-in to breakfast, and everything else, the staff was welcoming and professional. Quiet and relaxing yet close enough to see the sites in A Corunna. If we return to the Galicia area in the future we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were lovely but be aware the bathroom is in the bedroom separated by a glass panel. There are glass opaque doors into the loo and shower which may not suit some people. Staff during the stay were very helpful and friendly especially Michelle. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with the town festival which we were not told about when booking the hotel only a few weeks before our stay. We could have changed dates if informed. The main event was a concert attended by thousands of people. A stage was set up on the grass immediately next to the hotel and live bands played in the evening until 3am for two nights. The hotel provided foam earplugs which were useless and the noise was so loud that ourselves and our daughters in another room could not sleep. We understand that the hotel had no control over this but they should have informed us when we booked. It was our summer holiday and meant to be a relaxing break! There were stalls set up selling beer and fast food which people consumed all day so it was busy from the morning. The police were stopping all traffic from entering the area surrounding the hotel and it was difficult to get back. The hotel bar and outside area was extremely busy with non-residents and we were unable to get a table on several occasions. The service was slow in the bar and we did not enjoy the bar food. The restaurant food was great and the service good but there was very little ambience. It is a huge room and on one night we were the only customers. The swimming pool is on the rooftop with fantastic views but is small so that only 4 people are allowed in at a time. The hot tub has to be booked in advance for 30 minute only sessions. The rooftop swimming pool was also shut from 6pm on the evening of a wedding (when most people used it) so that the wedding party could have exclusive use. The hotel shut the restaurant on our second night to cater for the wedding, again we were not told on booking. Obviously the town was busy so we had to drive into Coruna for dinner. We were compensated for two rooms for 1 night due to the noise disturbance, a total of €505,00. We had prepaid the rooms so this was offset against F&B costs and the €25 car parking charge per night. We were then credited the remaining balance of €56,60 on our return but only after numerous emails were exchanged. My daughter’s hairdryer was stolen from her room on the second day. She used it in the morning but it disappeared between the room being cleaned and when we returned in the afternoon. We immediately reported it to reception who said they would look for it. We had hoped that it has been taken in error and would be returned however this was not the case. The hotel will not compensate us because their team did not admit to taking it and also because we had already been compensated for the rooms because of the concert (this had already been agreed)....'We have transferred the amount of €56,60 back to your bank account. Normally within a week you will receive the money. Regarding the issue of the hairdryer, I kindly inform you that we will not compensate for the loss of the hairdryer. As confirmed before, after investigation internally we are sure that our team did not take or lose the hairdryer'. Advise that valuables should be kept in a safe and be aware that there is a thief in the hotel. Have tried to speak to any Manager at the hotel and even asked to speak to the General Manager which was refused. Initially was not even allowed to know his name and hotel refused to give me his email address. Reported to police.

Amazing place. Wonderful people. I stayed here with my dog for a night. When I was asked how old he was, I mentioned that it was actually his birthday that day. 20 min later the lovely woman from the front desk and a member of the housekeeping team arrived at our room with a handwritten card and some treats for my pup! Not to mention the beautiful tranquil location.

i needed a break from the busy city, Noa Hotel, therefore has been a great choice for me - it is well located in a lovely and quiet area Santa Cruz, but with easy access to many good restaurants and 20mins driving away from big city. The breakfast was great, and the lady staff there was so lovely provided me great services.

Lovely location and friendly staff, we will return.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff

The hotel is in a superb position and our room was fantastic. However, breakfast is rather strange - all laid out in a row which encourages crowding. Reception staff also had very limited understanding of the demands of travelling with a dog and the many barriers.
