Sehr gut gelegener Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung, hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Für 3-4 Personen ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sehr freundliche Eigentümer.

We had booked the Mountain Heights Lodge because of it's close proximity to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Unfortunately, our shuttle was canceled both days of our stay due to poor weather conditions. The owners of the Lodge were so helpful and provided alternative hiking options in the area. The lodge was so cozy that we ended up spending one of the days just hanging in the room.

Algunas ventanas filtraban el viento que soplaba, el cual era muy fuerte esos dias, por lo cual el baño siempre estaba frio

"Cozy mountain stay."

Friendly staff. Nice stay in the park. Would have been better if tongariro pass had been open which kinda foiled our plans but the place was cozy enough and staff was friendly. Coffee and toast/marmite continental brekkie available.
