Villa Des Mascareignes

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Des Mascareignes. We stayed in the Soufflé Austral room which had big open windows that looked out to the ocean, and double doors with a balcony where our hosts made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. There were screens you could use to get fresh air or use an AC unit which was great. We chose to eat a dinner here and it felt like we had a private chef, which was our host Audrey. Very delicious and home made food! The whole place was super clean and detail orientated - they even had a book with suggested trip itineraries in the area. Olivier made us feel welcome the whole stay and was a tour guide with great english (hard to find in Reunion) and gave us great travel advice each morning. We stayed in a few other highly ranked places in Reunion but this was our highlight. Driving on the island is a challenge everywhere with tight roads so be aware the entrance is on a tight one way but don’t let that deter you from an unforgettable stay. We got used to that pretty quickly, and there’s a cute friendly dog on the property - Maxi. The pool was also very clean and inviting and the sun set views were unforgettable!

Très beau séjour entre les mains d'Audrey et Olivier. Une vue magnifique sur l'océan et le coucher de soleil dans une villa splendide. Des hôtes aux petits soins avec un petit-déjeuner gourmand préparé à l'avance pour les départs tardifs. Ravis de ce petit séjour.

Schöne Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Sehr gepflegte Außenanlagen mit Pool. Nette Gastgeber die auch Englisch sprechen. Das Dinner war wunderbar. Ich kann es insgesamt nur weiterempfehlen.

This place is absolutely amazing because it is located in a prefect location with a direct view from the pool to the ocean and near all the best attractions Reunion has to offer but above all of this - Oliver and Audrey are the nicest people you will ever meet in Reunion. They prepared for us delicious homemade food for dinner and breakfast (even the bread was homemade!), they helped us to build a perfect plan for our journey on the next day and they simply gave us the feeling that they are here for us for anything. If we are in Reunion again we will definitely come back and will highly recommend this place!
