Aloe Vera Shared House

A bit isolated and with an odd smell while checking in.. Wasn’t allowed to use the coffee maker unless the staff made the coffee.

The pool was a little cool blessing after a hot day. It sits in a little 'greenhouse' (so the air inside is pretty warm, although the water is unheated) which means that when you get in the water feels pleasant and when it's time to get out you don't freeze due to the wind. Everyone, both staff and guests, were kind and the night was quiet (although you could hear some planes). Everything was clean and tidy and staff took great care to make you feel welcome.

We didn't double-check the hostel's location before booking and were surprised to see we were not in El Medano per se (town-center) but rather in a residential area 30min away from the town square on foot [our bad]. It wasn't a dealbreaker (we had a car) but it is certainly something to take into account if you are planning on meeting friends who live/are staying near the town-center where parking is limited and can take a while. The upside to that is that there's plenty of free street-parking near the hostel and there are no crowds/noises that might disturb your sleep.

Excelente semana hemos pasado con mi hermano! el personal del hostel, los encargados y los chicos que están de voluntariado, todos una maravilla, nos hicimos amigos de ellos y nos trataron muy bien, la verdad que fue lo mejor de la estadía, la calidez humana. Luego también siempre pendientes de nuestras actividades y de poder ayudarnos a que tengamos también una agradable estadía en el hostel. La semana que estuvimos todo estaba en armonía, hubo tiempo de hacer amigos y de risas, momento de charlas y momentos de respetar los descansos. Lo recomiendo mucho y esperamos volver! Ah casi me olvido de mencionar la hermosa playa que tiene a 2 minutos a pie! y que también se puede apreciar desde la cocina comedor.

Very pleasant, great people, I felt very comfortable. Manager was very helpfull and kind. ☺️ Everything was working well . Beach is very Near , with not many people ,- i loved that Thank you 🌱🩷

The weather in that area is sometimes super windy , but it is 2 min to the beach where you can swim even when its windy ( its". Safe" beach , i wasnt scared to go to the water ) It's worth it.

Oh man... I miss it. I woke up today: no coffee, no doobie, professor "Pringles" missing... Life is so annoying... I have to go to work again... ech... Anyway- good spot- if you are wicked.

I left my espresso machine. Matti- don't lose it this time!! I better won't find it hidden somewhere - with my pants and flip-flops!!! 😉😅😂
