"Cold, stressful and dissapointing."

The location is excellent and the rooms are well fitted out with nice extras like an umbrella and slippers etc.

This is my second stay here and again there was an issue with the heating, when I arrived the room was freezing. I called from the desk and the lovely lady did an over ride from her location. Unfortunately for the following two days when I woke up and returned around 8pm it was freezing, the thermostat showed 17c def not 21c I was advised it was set at. After calling again it was reset and promised it would come on again in the morning when I woke at 6am but it didn't, the cleaning lady tried to help and put new batteries in the thermostat. This constant issue made my stay so uncomfortable because the room was so cold. The room could do with some window coverings/nets, I had to get dressed and do my make up etc with the curtains closed because the facing shops and people in the street can see right into the room. The room could do with a maintenance check and deep clean the radiators and skirts are thick with dust and cobwebs. I have holiday lets on Booking.com and would expect the room to be spotless and any issues to be followed up without me having to call each day due to the recurring issues.

"Mode is a great hotel, in a great position,."

This is the best room in a hotel I have had for a very long time. It had so many extras that other hotels definitely did not have.It had a place to put your suitcase. It had a real coffee pod machine, Glasses and mugs, bath robes. And a great deal of space ..And a high quality vending machine on the landing. The hotel was right in the middle of Lytham. Five minutes from the sea, and 10 minutes from the Lowther Pavilion.

We couldn’t make the heating work properly . There were no rooms on the ground floor. But my wife did manage the stairs with difficulty.
