Traditional Village House

Excellent stay! Dimitris was a wonderful host. The house is very beautiful in a traditional style, with a lovely garden. The village is peaceful and authentic – a perfect place to enjoy Zakynthos. We had a wonderful stay in Zakynthos! Dimitris, the owner, was very kind and welcoming. The accommodation was excellent – clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed in a traditional style that made us feel at home. The garden is truly charming, full of greenery and flowers, perfect for relaxing. The village itself is also very picturesque and peaceful, giving us the authentic Greek experience. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Удобное расположение в тихой деревне, в пешей доступности есть супермаркет, ресторан. До ближайшего пляжа 10 минут на машине. В доме есть все оборудование, кроме посудомойки, но это не критично. Огромный сад с фруктовыми деревьями, большая терраса с видом. Хозяин очень приветливый , встретил нас с множеством местных угощений. Наша семья отлично провела время на острове закинтос благодаря этому уютному месту. Спасибо Димитрис!

The house is very comfortable, the ground floor (living room, kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, air conditioning) is traditionally made of stone; on the first floor the bedrooms (+service toilets) each with AC and TV; we had everything was need it, nothing was missing; very beautiful garden. Dimitris was a welcoming host, he received us with hospitality and gave us the necessary privacy. The village is on a hill approx. 2km from the main road, it has a small supermarket and a tavern where you can eat greak dishes.

The nearby beach is not pleasant. A car is needed to travel to other beautiful beaches. Nearby is a church whose clock woke us up several times. The walls between the bedrooms are thin and not insulated.

The location of Dimitris' house was just what we wanted - in a quiet hilltop village, away from the hubbub. The village has a wonderful taverna which we frequented daily and a small shop that provided for our needs. The house is an authentic stone and wood structure with all the modern amenities. All rooms have AC but we never had to use it, even though all days were 30+ C. The real highlight for us was spending time on the terrace and in the garden. Our 4-year-old had an absolute blast picking fresh lemons, pomegranates, and cracking almonds from the garden. Our host left us deeply touched by his kindness and hospitality.

The warm reception of the wonderful host Dimitris made us feel very welcome at the meticulously and charming kept beautiful country house. We were greeted with complementary local wine and olive oil as well as sweet treats. The huge backyard has delicious almond and fig trees which during our stay were ready to harvest and were complementary offered to us. The open floor plan of the first floor of the house feels very cozy. There is a restaurant, called Lofos, with delicious food and an amazing view only a 5 minutes walk away. The house is located on a charming and quiet small village. On our final night Dimitris stopped by briefly and presented us with a USB thumb drive containing beautiful traditional Greek songs.

Extremely friendly owner. Big house with big garden. Well equipped kitchen. Very confortable. We liked being there very much. Surely come back later.
