The staff.

Advertised a bathroom and photos of a bath but no bath. That's false advertising. Couldn't shower for longer than a minute as tray overflowed. Lifted the chrome waste to help water flow but that didn't help. The waste was full of hair and gunk,clearly never been cleared. The carpet was threadbare, wallpaper peeling everywhere, curtains didn't cover window so very bright from 5am. The place is a mess and needs a refurbishment.

The location and price are great, and the room is clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioner. You need a key to unlock your room door to get out, which is a fire hazard.

Parking is always a problem in Keswick but there was plenty at this hotel.

After a day's hiking and going into town for a few beers there was no time to return before the kitchen closed at 8pm. No probs, I ate in another pub in town.
