Moss Hotel

Fabulous location and the staff couldn’t have been more accomodating and friendly

As it was overcast during our stay, we found the room slightly dark at times, a bit more light near the bag storage area would have been helpful

It is a small hotel with interesting fresh plant walls and an attractive colour palette. Our room on the 5th floor at 25 Salamanca Place had a picture window with a lovely view of the Parliament House gardens, the wharf area and the mountains beyond. The carpeted floor in front of the window was an ideal spot for yoga in the mornings. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to cafes and restaurants and an upmarket convenience store with local produce and wine. There is no restaurant or cafe and very limited communal space in the hotel. Having to go out for every meal is a bit limiting in cold rainy weather but they do provide large umbrellas.
