It was close to everything. They let us drop our bags off in the morning and the woman was very nice. The facilities were nice and the breakfast was great as well.

"This place is very cozy and family style. Loved our stay!"

The staff was very friendly and kind. She treated us like family, always had chocolate as treats (it was during Christmas), and recommended us places to go. The hotel was also very close to the Windermere railway station (just 2-3 minutes walk). Was also close to booths grocery shop.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this place.

"Avoid if u are a family, good for students / solo travelers"

Clean, good smelling linen. Breakfast was okey for the price.

Rooms are dated, old and almost in ruins. Dirty, smelly, torn carpet on the floors. Cobwebs all over the room. Heating was poor. Shower room was a joke, flet like a coffin. Shower head is fixed, and is only 5 feet tall, good luck if u r an adult. Couldnt sleep entire night as there was the noise of some machine operating throughout the night(ac compressor or a laundromat machine or a tumble drier) Beds were made of steel with shard edges, leg brushed against one and got a small cut. Matresses are cheap coil ones, would be better to sleep on floor. Pillows are lumpy and old. Pictures of the room on booking.com are either ages old or edited or not very clear.
