De omgeving was prachtig De ligging van het huisje was top. De gastvrouw was super behulpzaam. Dan lagen er weer pruimen dan komkomers vers uit de tuin. En bij aankomst lekker fles wijn en grote fles water.

Het was en erg , erg klein huisje voor 4 volwassen te klein maar de buiten ruimte maakte veel goed. En er was geen WiFi dat was echt zwaar balen. De slinger weg omhoog en omlaag was ook niet mijn favoriet.

Absolutely delightful! A secluded farmhouse in the midst of small terraced fields with fruit, vegetables, etc. Cozy and full of character, but definitely up to modern standards of comfort. Nice sitting area with shade, barbecue, everything you could want. Magnificent views, and the night sky is stunning! Monchique is 4 Km away, but there are two nice local restaurants on the main road (which google calls "snack bar", but they're really family-run restaurants). Lots of hikes in the Sierra de Monchique, and by car you can get to most places in the western Algarve in an hour or so.

Internet can be a bit spotty.

The view is fantastic. And the place is very quiet

This house is a little gem of a find, stunning location, we stayed 3 nights & wanted a quiet location, we were on a track day at Portimao circuit which was 25mins away, the supermarket down the road is very well stocked, there is a cafe on the main road from the house but it wasn't open, The cleaning lady was there when we arrived & let us in early, She was lovely & the house was spotless, very well equipped

Just an observation, there is a stone sink outside the front door which was full of water which attracted a lot of mosquitoes, we did bring repellents with us as we knew we were staying in the countryside
