Khao-Sok Bed and Breakfast

Nice and clean room in Khao Sok village. Breakfast was pretty basic (not many options if you’re vegan). Ginger tea was just a little ginger powder and a lot of sugar sachet.

The staff could be a little nicer. One person at the reception was super nice and welcoming. But on the day we left, one of my brand new hiking shoes wasn’t there anymore (they make you leave your shoes at the reception downstairs and outside - and they tell you to never leave the bedroom’s windows open because there are monkeys!) in the morning. I was quite disappointed, they blamed the neighbors dog and in the end they found the shoe completely ripped apart. I eventually got some money back from the dog’s owner, but the way the staff handled this problem was quite rude and arrogant. I don’t think I’ll visit this place again.

Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze houden de kamer en de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes netjes.

De omgeving biedt op loopafstand niet veel, maar dat was "de jungle" dus te verwachten.

Accueil exceptionnel : La propriétaire est extrêmement gentille ; nous avons pris un réel plaisir à échanger avec elle. Son hospitalité marque vraiment le séjour. Qualité de la chambre : La chambre est très spacieuse, calme et dispose d'une salle de bain agréable. La climatisation est efficace, bien que le volet soit légèrement bruyant à l'usage. Expérience nature : L'emplacement est stratégique pour explorer le parc. La présence de singes sur le balcon a rendu l'expérience amusante et mémorable.

Nuisances sonores animales : Bien que ce soit le charme de la jungle, les singes sur le toit peuvent être très bruyants. Nous avons été réveillés la première nuit, même si l'hôtel n'y est pour rien. Entretien : Un point d'amélioration serait le nettoyage du filtre de la climatisation, qui était très sale lors de notre passage.
