Chandakos 8 Design Apartments

The apartment is located in the city center and has good AC and a balcony with the view. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed.

It may be difficult to get there for people with mobility problems - the apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator)

Location was great, bed was very comfortable and the place had a great feel to it.

It’s an amazing place to stay if you plan to visit Heraklion. Firstly, the host was vey responsive and very helpful. I have stayed in many different places in the world. This one is definitely the best in my life. The designed appartement is super clean and provides everything travelers may need. The host offers excellent advice about where to do and where to eat. We have tried the restaurant at Apiri and the grilled chicken was amazing. My daughter loved this apartment a lot and said that it’s sad to leave. It’s an amazing place to stay where is as cozy as at home. Also, the location is perfect! One minute’s walk away from the lion’s square. Thanks a lot for offering this wonderful place. We really appreciate everything and all the nice consideration for our need.

The location was great! Really central and easy to walk to everything in Heraklion. Stavriana was a great host and gave some very helpful recommendations about staying in Crete and answered any questions we had. We were also left some raki and a traditional cretian drink which was very kind. The apartment was beautifully laid out too and well decorated.

It was not very soundproof - we could hear loud music coming from nearby bars at night. Also the power going off when you leave the property was difficult, as this included power sockets, the dishwasher and the washing machine making it very difficult to wash clothes etc. when you are out exploring for most of the day.

We loved our stay at Chandakos 8 Design apartments! The view was stunning, the apartment was clean and functional, and very well-located. Stavrianna also gave lots of great recommendations for things to do and see, and where to eat!

We had a small issue with hot water, but Stavrianna was very prompt to help fix the problem.

This unit is in a prime location, right in the center of the old town. It has a nice terrace with a view of the sea. Directions were provided by our host, to a parking garage very close by, which was very helpful! The pictures on the listing matched the reality.

The unit doesn't have a "living room". Other than that, the unit was well appointed and we spent most of our time when in the unit, on the deck. Important to note the stairs to the unit (It's a top floor) are very steep. Not a problem, but important to be aware of.
