Hampton Inn and Suites Dundee

This was the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. We have been loyal Hampton Inn guest. Always booking through Expedia. We were in room 126. The shabbiest, smelliest room ever. I should have asked for another room immediately. We had driven 10 hours and looked forward to a nice shower and good nights rest. I know someone had either thrown up on the carpet next to the bed or spilled something that had soured. I wiped everything down with my lavender disinfectant wipes and put towels on the floor next to the bed. Nothing helped. I honestly couldn’t sleep. At 5:30 a.m the banging and clanging started next to us. It said maintenance room but we believe it was the kitchen area. We paid plenty for a clean room. I’m really quite furious.

Super comfortable and clean. The breakfast and staff were great. Beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The shower had hair in it. Didn’t look like it was clean. The comforter had a dirt like substance on it. Overall not a good stay. Tried contacting Hampton to get some kind of compensation with no returned call. Will not be staying there again.

Hotel was great, staff was very nice, breakfast was great, the only complaint was, our room was right above the kitchen/ breakfast area and about 6am we could hear a lot of noise, so sleeping in was not happening.
