The hotel location is great, but that’s where the positives stop. This was a mother daughter trip and initially we were shown a room with one bed and a window to the lobby. We were then moved upstairs to a better room but the refrigerator was broken, the fan in the bathroom was broken, and there were no extra blankets, only a sheet. Upon complaining, we were told nothing could be done about the refrigerator (even though we were being provided a breakfast that needed refrigeration). No blankets available, just told to turn air conditioning off. Would NOT recommend.

I was disappointed with the room which did not have any outside windows. In the YK this is called a cupboard. Nice roof terrace 3 floors up and free coffee during reception hours 9 am to 10 pm. At the price of nearly 160 euros a night I expected better

Excellent location. Within a two minute walk of the Cathedral. 20 minute walk to the train station. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However the hotel is on an entirely quiet street , so no noise disturbance. Rooms very well appointed , excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Booked four nights with H La Puerta de Palacio for 200 Euro. Also go by name La Alcoba de Palacio. Large, spacious room with king bed and reading lamp on each side. Enough outlets for electronic equipment. Nice table, lamp, and chair for work on computer. Bathroom large with a nice walk-in shower. HVAC system works providing proper room temperature. Elevator to upper floors is a major bonus. Economical hotel with all the features of a more expensive accommodation and located close to Royal Alcazar, Cathedral of Seville, and Av de la Constitucion. Breakfast is an added expense. Staff very friendly and helpful.

*Location*: heart of the action, very close to La Giralda, Los Alcázares etc. *Staff/service*: fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. *Comfort*: the bed was awesome. *Room*: very clean. I found it a bit too minimalist - polished concrete floors, concrete ceiling, everything painted white. Some will like, but not my taste. Basic TV channels, no minibar (a fridge, yes). No in-room tea/coffee facility. *Issues*: noise. Noise of water running through pipework from room above at all hours. Once heard, really disturbed sleep each night. Noise from work on building opposite (to be fair, not a lot this hotel can do about this) *Overall*: a really nice hotel with great staff and in a great location.

Great property and just in the middle of old town and almost waii ti wall wit the Alcazar.

We are still awaiting a full refund, for two nights that we cancelled in good time. We rang the hotel twice and they passed the buck to Hotels.Com, who have also proved to be totally unprofessional. This hotel charged our account Euros 110 for two cancelled nights! I am getting absolutely nowhere with this hotel, as they keep making excuses as to why I cannot have a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
