Sehr große und gut ausgestattete Zimmer in idealer Lage zu den Ruinen. Das gesamte Anwesen vermittelt ein spezielles feeling. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstück wird angeboten und für abends gibt es fußläufig mehrere Möglichkeiten. Unbedingt die Trattoria MV ausprobieren.

It´s a incredible experience, and to know how owner and people of there help to rescue to zone´s animal (primarly primates) is fantastic

Maybe they can install some water boiler in each room to make coffee

We liked the rooms, a little bit of jungle atmosphere. The only problem was that I expected a lot of this accommodation when reading reviews about it and the monkey sanctuary . These expectations unfortunately were not met. We saw the owner at check in and once in passing but there was no further contact - and so no more information about what they were doing was given. As said rooms were good though and we still had a good Palenque stay.

The breakfast was not possible - due to circumstances out of ours hosts hands - but it would have been nice to have been informed about this before as to organize ourselves.

Une expérience unique: on dort dans un refuge de singes, avec les cages de singes araignées et de singes hurleurs juste à côté de nos chambres. nous avons entendu les cris des singes hurleurs à l'aube dans la jungle toute proche.. Adriana, propriétaire et biologiste, nous a accueilli très chaleureusement..Même si Los Susurros est un peu isolé, deux excellents résultats à proximté: Monteverde et Paraiso permettent de dîner jusque tard le soir..

Basic but clean. (The shower curtain had a bit mold, but I think this will be quickly the case with the humidity) The woman is very friendly and helpful and quick in responding. The ruins are close.

We were curious about the monkey project, but the cages seemed very small and close to humans, which might make it hard to release them. But maybe we would have understood this better when we would have gotten more explanation (which we didn't ask). There was no breakfast opportunity. It is not totally surrounded by jungle (what the photos might implicate); contrary: a lot of other small buildings/ restaurants in the neighborhood, all on the dirt road(s). Never the less: the stay seems good money value.

Cadre magnifique dans la nature. Très proche du site Maya de Palenque.

Le chemin peu carrossable pour accéder au logement.
