"Great experience"

Excellent visit and experience. The massages were perfect,the exercise classes were intense for my level. They really pushed my limits. The rooms are large, clean and very quiet. An added bonus is onsite underground parking. No walking in the cold. The food was perfectly presented and very tasty. I enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner in my robe. The spa was complete, exercise equipment, sauna, and steam area. The dark quiet resting area was a good place to meditate. The outdoor hot tub beckoned me to enter. The star is attentive and very helpful. A great stay.

"Mirbeau"

We did a "Mom & Daughter" overnight and everything was wonderful. The room was beatiful, spa was great, dinner was delicious and the overall service was excellent. We would definitely recommend Mirbeau and return for another visit - perhaps to the new Beacon location opening in 2026.

"took our money, didn't send a gift certificate and won't resolve the situation"

As of right now, we’ve paid $700 for two 50 minute massages. Our story: my wife purchased a $300 gift certificate for a couple’s massage online. She immediately received a confirmation of payment email. But this email, it turns out, is not the gift certificate. We learned this while we were checking out after our sessions. The woman at the front desk explained, unhelpfully, that she could not honor the proof of purchase email nor could she help resolve the situation as “the gift certificate department is separate.” The confirmation of payment email had an address to send an email to if the gift certificate is not received buried in the bottom of the text. We sent this address an email as we were waiting at the front desk. We immediately received an auto-generated email (which appears to have been written in 2024) that said we could expect a reply in 96 hours. So I guess the countdown has begun. The woman at the front desk apologized for “the confusion” when we left. Mirabeau took $300 for a gift certificate, didn’t send it, didn’t reach out, and won’t resolve the situation immediately. Not sure “confusion” really captures it. The massages were great. The meditation room’s nice but people talk a lot which is kind of annoying. Customer service / reservation operators / front desk … VERY BAD.

"Spa Mirabeau’s Edina"

The spa is absolutely stunning. All of the amenities are very clean and high-quality. Edina is an incredible staff member who makes every experience at the spa simply wonderful. She is attentive, caring, and always wearing a smile. Thank you to both her and the facility for a beautiful experience each and every time!

"Unacceptable Housekeeping Standards and Poor Management Response"

I stayed at this property expecting top-notch service for my wife and my 10-year anniversary but my experience fell painfully short. We discovered dried blood on our bedsheets shortly after checking in — a horrifying discovery in any hotel, let alone a high-end inn and spa. When we requested fresh bedding, the housekeeping staff blatantly claimed the stains were our fault. When we confronted our attendant Juliana about this insinuation she backtracked and claimed she never said this. Her supervisor stepped in to apologize for Juliana's behavior and then promised to have the property’s housekeeping supervisor and general manager address our concerns. No one reached out. We were told repeatedly that neither was on-site and they never followed up. Our frustration was compounded by a subtle, but very real, experience of discrimination. We are a younger, brown couple, and the resort’s demographic was mostly white guests, with a housekeeping staff of younger white women. We felt dismissed and disrespected throughout this process. This property’s failure to maintain basic cleanliness standards and to professionally address issues—especially one as disgusting as blood-stained sheets—is inexcusable. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone seeking a respectful and well-managed hospitality experience. Bottom Line: Overpriced and under-delivering. Consider looking elsewhere for a truly welcoming stay.

"Exceptional"

Five stars all the way from the staff, our room, and spa treatments. We didn’t dine in the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar. We would absolutely stay at the Rhinebeck location again as it is superior to their Skaneatles hotel which is tired and in need of a refresh.

I booked this place for my birthday and it was top-tier!! I enjoyed every moment of this tranquil space. The staff really treats you like royalty. The spa was divine, I wish I had done it sooner. Food is also good on-site but there are cute stores right outside the property so you have options.
