Homestay in Walsall

I booked my room on short notice as I was working in Walsall. After a busy day at approximately 10:30pm I checked for the address of my accomodation in my emails to find I was being asked to supply ID and a deposit of £150 to be transferred in to a bank account. This looked highly irregular as I had already paid for my accommodation and booking.com had my debit card details. After a very long day I spent the next hour trying to cancel this room with a refund and looking for new accommodation. This has put me off booking with booking.com as it appears too unreliable.

Clean tidy close to all amenities

The place was VERY CLEAN including the bathroom and kitchen and super convenient. The cleaner did an amazing job and was very hospitable. The only annoying thing was the host asked for deposit and my id but that wasn’t an issue as i had it. The only other issue was the noisy people who were in other rooms.

3 beds were a bit crowded for 1 room

I was a little unsure when i booked it, I’ve never stayed at a home stay house before but I was really surprised. I booked the room with the en-suite and my stay was exceptional . I felt really comfortable, home from home, it was peaceful, clean and my stay was very relaxing. It had all the amenities I needed for my stay. I would definitely book here again.

The only thing was the shower water was too hot, no matter which way I turned the dial it didn’t seem to go cooler.
