Pembroke Villa

Lovely little cottage in a handy location. Perfect base to set up for a week of holiday.

Lovely property and in a great location. Washing machine and dryer were helpful

While the actual villa was nice with quality appliances and furniture, we were surprised at the lack of supplies at the property. Compared to every other place in NZ that we stayed who had all these little extra touches, Pembroke villa was stocked like a business hotel rather than the cosy home we expected. Additionally, we arrived to 2 low quality toilet paper rolls and the very bottom of a bottle of body wash for 3 adults staying 4 nights and when we asked for more, were told that basic supplies were only given to start off the stay. I can't say I've ever stayed somewhere where I had to bring my own loo paper!

Stunning house with everything you need. Such a good value for money. Walking distance to the lake and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Could not get the wifi to work

Internet was not working. Really old tv that was difficult to operate Took at least an hour to get internet working and 2morecall outs to get tv working. We had to write down instructions. These be on written information sheet.

Comfortable well equipped property a short walk from the Lake and the town.

Lumpy pillows, kitchen scissors did not cut, no oven gloves, ironing board needs replacing - foam under the cover has disintegrated, couldn’t find the modem for the password for the WiFi (although as it happens we wouldn’t have used it as we discovered that there was an extra cost - most company’s include this in the cost of the property).
