"Beautiful House in Wanaka."

It is an old house, full of charm and character. Beautifully renovated with modern kitchen and bathrooms. The doors were replaced with modern door and door handles. Nice wood-burning fireplace warmed the house quickly. Beautiful tree in front of the house. Great view of the mountains and lake. Walking distance to see the Wanaka Tree.
A bit far to walk to the town. But, it was a nice stroll along along the park and lake. It has squeaky floorboards. This is expected of old houses.

Location was fantastic. It was near to town and the lake. Cool breeze from the lake. Quiet area. House was clean and good facilities with washer and dryer. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds. Parking right in front of the house.
TV is hard to use. Need to use remote very close to the tv and recorder to operate. Using dish satellite which doesn't have much choices in programs. Would be good to upgrade to Smart TVs like other places. Don't open windows at night with the lights turned on. The moths and sand flies all fly in.

Central (walking distance from the town and lakeside), spacious, well stocked. Loved the garden with the table under the trees.
Just needed fans in all 3 bedrooms; there was inly a fan in 1 room
