One of the best stays i had on this trip. Checkin on ground floor of the boutique, but given the access code if after hours. Gorgeous hostoric building, great location. Ask for room 5, loved it. Street is a little noisy, especially when the cleaners come by at 6, but they provide both a white noise machine and ear plugs if needed. Host very personable and friendly, and had good Engliah. If I come back, i wont bother searching for places, ill just come back here.

I have left very positive reviews on other sites relating to this superb property. Words can hardly describe how unique staying here is. 100% score for everything. Our hosts were charming. Excellent breakfast, access to the kitchen for guests. Very good shopping close by with many small shops and a Monoprix. Think carefully before booking if you have mobility issues (there is no lift.....for reasons which are obvious bearing in mind the character of the building)......roof beams are quite low in some rooms. I only hit my head 6 times over 4 days! An excellent location, in the heart of the old part of Angers yet close to the vibrant atmosphere of what is essentially a 'young' city and within easy walking distance of a range of historic buildings, churches and museums. Walking distance from railway station.

Amazing place. Very characterful. Lovely hosts and breakfast. Beware the stairs for older people etc and also lots of traffic and local bar noise into the early hours although ear plugs were provided for this! Would stay again just to experience such a beautiful house

Our stay was absolutely amazing, such a beautiful room and the bathtub was so appreciated after a long day of cycling! The bed was also extremely comfortable. Such a amazing piece of history to be staying in. We had a secure place to lock our bikes and were able to help ourselves to local beers/drinks from the kitchen which was perfect for us. The location was great and despite being warned about the busy road, we didn’t hear anything at all. The earplugs were still a great touch! The breakfast was our favourite throughout our entire 2 week trip, homemade crepes, delicious local jams and whatever else we had asked for. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!
